The client at the property in Hinxworth was torn between the decision of having a refitted kitchen or a re-vamp, as she was looking to sell the property. We decorated the hall, stairs, landing, lounge, study and downstairs clockroom. She felt the kitchen was on the only room that was left dated in the house.
We set about changing this for her. The kitchen was solid wood, so we started by cleaning down the kitchen units, plate racks and draws with sugars soap. We took all the draws out and handles of them as we prepared it all. The walls were painted inJasmine White, with a striking deep red feature wall around the original stylish window they had at the centre of the kitchen. Finally, the window was painted, along with all the units, doors, draws and plate racks, with two coats of Jasmine White eggshell, using wet and dry rubbing technique in between coats.
The client felt she had a new kitchen, not just a revamped one and was very satisfied with the outcome.
